ART have developed a Modular Remote Isolation System for 25kV Train Maintenance Depot’s. The system will be installed on 7 roads of Wulkaraka Maintainance Depot in QLD and is designed to ensure the existing interlock procedure for the Depot Personal Protection System (DPPS) is maintained.

Each motorised switch system (1 per road) includes 3 motorised vertically operating isolators (1 HV switch, 2 x earth switches) mounted on existing masts where the manual switches are currently positioned. This solution will involve complete replacement of the existing isolator switch system (HV and PED) with a new motorised version.
